Long months, marked by restrictions, openings and renewed closures, lie behind us. We are all the more pleased that we can welcome all guests back to our Maritim Hotels, that our hotels are consistently filled with guests and and that we can do what we love to do: Being your hosts. The federal government has adopted far-reaching regulations to slow down the spread of the Corona virus.
We have developed extensive hygiene and safety measures and trained our employees in the new accommodation conditions. All our hotels have been inspected and approved by the authorities before opening in accordance with the specific requirements of the individual federal states. Nothing is more important to us than protecting your health and that of our teams so that you can fully enjoy your stay with us. As you have probably already read in the press, we have to comply with a number of conditions. This influences the services we can currently offer you.
Please note that due to official requirements concerning the corona pandemic, there may be restrictions on the hotel's services. This applies in particular to the wellness and gastronomic facilities. It is possible, for example, that the pool, sauna or fitness room may not be made available, the bar may not be open or breakfast may not be offered in buffet form. Therefore, the general usability of the mentioned facilities does not become part of the contract. However, we will of course provide all facilities where there is no prohibition. Restrictions are also possible with regard to the obligation to wear masks, hand disinfection, distance rules to be observed or even the restriction of contact with other guests.
Since 1st August 2021, all persons entering Germany from the age of twelve must have a negative test certificate, a convalescent certificate or proof of complete vaccination.

In all of our hotels we offer you full capacities in compliance with the spacing regulations and requirements. If you are planning a holiday in Germany or a city trip this year, please don't wait too long with your booking, best book right here. All offers, prices and availabilities can be accessed and booked there, updated daily. As you know, the legal regulations of the federal states are different. This often leads to misunderstandings regarding the mask requirement or other requirements. Please always have a surgical mask or a mask of the standards FFP2, FFP3, N95, KN95, P2, DS2 or KF94 with you when you travel to us.
In every Maritim Hotel we offer you our signature breakfast buffet in the usual selection and quality.
Due to the fact that we place you for breakfast and disinfect all tables after use for your safety, there may be waiting times at the entrance during the time when all guests like to have breakfast. We ask for your understanding in this regard.
At lunchtime and in the evening, depending on the hotel, we serve you a large selection of dishes à la carte or buffet, of course also with vegetarian/vegan variations. You decide whether you want to enjoy them on the occasion of a restaurant visit or use our room service. In addition, many of our hotels have large terraces where you can dine in the open. We use “luca” – here’s how it works
As you know, all of our Maritim Hotels in Germany have a pool, which is available to you again in most hotels. Cooling down and sportive activities are therefore ensured!
Let us massage you in our beauty departments, enjoy a facial treatment, a pedicure of your troubled feet or a relaxing Ayurvedic treatment (not open in all hotels). You will find information about the offers on the page of your desired hotel. Tip: To be on the safe side, it is best to make your appointment when you book your room.
Please inform yourself about our wellness and sport offers on the website of the hotel you would like to travel to, where this information is constantly updated.
When you arrive, your room is freshly cleaned, ventilated and carefully disinfected. Please be sure to pack reading material in your luggage or ask at the reception for our customer magazine, the Maritim Journal, our offer leaflets and other brochures. In the hotel lobby there is no longer a brochure rack and for reasons of hygiene we are not allowed to have anything in the room for you. In our restaurants, too, you unfortunately have to do without the free daily newspaper. Of course you can still buy your newspaper at the reception and we ask you to dispose of it after use and not to leave it lying around.
If you like to relax in your bathrobe in the morning or evening, you will not find it in your room as usual. For known reasons we had to remove bedspreads and woollen blankets, small pillows and bathrobes from the room.
On arrival we welcome you with a bottle of water in your room. However, the mini bars with drinks and small snacks have been cleared out. You are welcome to order these items via room service.
We have always been ideally suited for social travel and offer your groups carefree stays at attractive locations, even under the new conditions. Many of our long-standing customers know: there is plenty of space at Maritim. Large rooms and lobbies, corridors and catering facilities and a variety of event rooms are ideal for meeting the requirements of a wide range of group sizes without any problems. In addition, most hotels have terraces and outdoor areas for outdoor activities, champagne receptions and coffee tables.
According to your wishes, we check in your participants directly on arrival in the bus or you can use the routing systems in our hotel lobbies for convenient check-in at the reception. Please advise the members of your group to take a mouth and nose protector with them before they start their journey. Before your arrival all rooms have been freshly cleaned, ventilated and carefully disinfected.
For the culinary well-being of your group we have put together delicious menus consisting of starter, three main courses to choose from and dessert. Depending on the hotel, you can have your meal together in the restaurant or in a suitable meeting room, which we will prepare especially for you. It is important to us that everyone can sit together, respecting the distance regulations, so that the trip offers a common experience. Of course we will discuss this and other points with you before accepting the offer.
Season opening and closing trips
It will probably be some time before you plan such trips again. However, if you already have concrete ideas, please contact us in advance. Due to the size of our hotels we can make a lot of things possible. In addition, the current regulations will be further relaxed, allowing you to familiarise many of your guests with your new programmes within the framework of this popular form of event.
You can benefit from our attractive group rates for groups of 15 or more people. If you are planning a trip at this point in time, even though the group size mentioned above is slightly less, it is still worth talking to us so that we can check your request. The same applies to options. Let us know if you want to apply again and need more time for this. All our hotels have been inspected and approved by the authorities before opening in accordance with the specific requirements, hygiene and safety standards of the individual federal states. Each hotel has a wayfinding system adapted to the structural conditions, which guides your participants safely into the event area and the respective conference rooms. If various meetings take place in the hotel, we will agree a schedule with you to avoid group meetings. In lots of German states, wearing a mouth and nose protection in the public areas of hotels is also mandatory for guests. However, we recommend that you always ask your participants to bring and wear this now important utensil.
In order to be able to trace back any health problems, we need a list with the contact details of the participants and information about the time the guests will be staying with us before the event begins. You are welcome to send us this list in advance.
Upon receipt of your request, we will inform you which conference room is perfectly suited to the size of the event you have requested. On your arrival, the room is freshly cleaned, ventilated, carefully disinfected and positioned so that all distance regulations are met. Therefore it is unfortunately not possible to arrive with more participants than originally requested. If you can foresee that the number of your guests will change, please inform us in advance. It is important for us to point out that the organizer is responsible for the compliance with the official regulations inside the conference room.
Public foyers and break times
In order to make it possible for all groups to stay in the exhibition areas and areas between the conference rooms, we will discuss the start, end and break times of your event with you in advance. The consistent compliance with the pre-planned times requires discipline from all of us and serves the safety of your guests and our teams.
Of course, during your stay with us we will also take care of the physical well-being of your guests. In advance we will agree with you whether you would like to have catering in the conference room or, where available, use the hotel's central coffee station. If there are several groups in the hotel, we will draw up a schedule, which we will coordinate with you. You can find our menu here.
Areas around the hotel
Many Maritim Hotels have large outdoor areas, terraces and green spaces which you are welcome to use for your event. As we have many possibilities to react to all weather conditions, please contact us if you do not wish to hold meetings in closed rooms at the moment.
Information for agencies and major events
If the number of your participants is greater than our current capacities, we recommend that you hold a hybrid event format. For example, some of your guests can follow the event in the conference room and other interested parties can join in via video conference. Together with our partners we offer a wide range of technical concepts, which we would be happy to present to you. Digital presentation technology, virtual conferences, interpreter booths and much more, our technical equipment offers you all possibilities.
