The Maritim Seehotel is located directly on the beach in Timmendorfer Strand. The beachfront promenade starts right outside the hotel and is ideal for leisurely walks along the Baltic Sea. The adjacent spa gardens and the town centre, with its shops, cafés and restaurants, are also within easy walking distance.
Timmendorfer Strand railway station is approximately 2 km away and can easily be reached by bus.
Directly in front of the Maritim Hotel is the Maritim Pier, which opened in 2024. It features a 427-metre circular walkway extending over the water.
The location is particularly suitable for guests who want to combine a beach holiday with excursions and restaurant visits without having to rely on a car for every journey.

Our fully repaired and heated outdoor pool will be available to you again from 9 October.
From 4 January 2027, our indoor pool will undergo technical refurbishment. The work is expected to take approximately four weeks. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, the outdoor pool cannot be used during this period.
Our hotel will be closed from 22 to 29 January 2027 inclusive.

… was harvested and poured into jars. The honey is available from the hotel.
2024
The ProTomorrow project supported a local beekeeper while also aiming to teach children about bees, honey and the work of a beekeeper.
In cooperation with the Grund- und Gemeinschaftsschule Timmendorfer Strand, the hotel organised a visit to the beehives. The pupils were able to taste honey directly from the honeycomb and watch young bees emerge from their cells.
The Maritim Seehotel Timmendorfer Strand is certified according to the GreenSign Hotel Standard.
As part of the certification process, an independent certification body reviews documented evidence and conducts an on-site audit to determine whether the hotel meets the requirements of the GreenSign Hotel Standard. The assessment covers areas including environmental management, energy and water consumption, waste management, social responsibility and regional sourcing.
The audit report documents the assessment and provides recommendations for further development.
The certificate is valid until 4 August 2028.

Dogs are welcome in selected rooms on the 1st to 3rd floors. For 30 € per dog/day, a dog blanket and food bowl are provided for your four-legged friend. Please note that restrictions apply to dogs in the restaurants and make sure to mention your dog when booking.

You cannot watch the sunset from the hotel. However, thanks to its location directly on the Baltic Sea, you can enjoy the sunrise on the beach or along the promenade. Please note that not all hotel rooms offer sea views and therefore views of the sunrise.
