Altmühl Valley bike path
Length: approx. 33 km
The Altmühl Valley bike path is one of the most popular bike paths in Germany: It follows the Altmühl for 166 kilometers from Gunzenhausen to Kelheim through the Altmühl Valley nature park. Along the trip, majestic Juraalb rock formations, impressive juniper heaths and lush riverbank and meadow landscapes are waiting to be discovered.

The autumn festival in Ingolstadt is a folk festival that takes place every year in autumn on the fairground on Dreizehnerstrasse in Ingolstadt. It is one of the largest folk festivals in Bavaria and attracts around 1.5 million visitors every year. The autumn festival was first held in 1946 after the Second World War and has since become an integral part of cultural life in Ingolstadt. At the autumn festival you will find everything a folk festival has to offer: Rides, beer tents, delicacies and entertainment.
