Wonderfully integrated within the resort’s 25 hectare landscaped grounds, the wellness oasis covers an expansive 3,500 sqm. Delve into a world of tranquillity where the splashing of waterfalls and the chirping of tropical birds is not some looped recording. Indulge in some professional pampering while treating yourself to the benefits of therapeutic treatments and cosmetic applications. All massage preparations, creams and masks are made using tropical flowers, plants and natural oils from the region which are then mixed according to the results of your skin analysis. The facility has a total of 12 treatment stations distributed throughout six single cabins, two double cabins and two wedding suites. In addition, there is a pavilion for yoga, Pilates and dry massages, a hairdressing salon, a tranquillity area behind the waterfall, a whirlpool, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a Kneipp foot bath.

The services offered are based on traditional methods of tropical herbalism – a treasure trove of knowledge based on the benefits of the region’s botanical ingredients. By mixing dried and fresh petals, various floral essences and essential oils in various combinations, the preparations promote emotional ease and a peaceful state of mind for each individual. The floral essences used in the Maritim Spa are made from selected plants growing in the wild on Mauritius. In addition to treatments such as the ‘Frangipani Relaxation Massage’ of the ‘Rose Reflexology Massage’, the Maritim Spa also affords guests an unparalleled selection of dry massages. One example of such is the ‘Bamboo Massage’ in which a state of pure relaxation is achieved through the stimulation of pressure points over the entire body with bamboo stems.
