Information during the Corona pandemic

Dear guests,

We are pleased to welcome you again at the Maritim Seehotel Timmendorfer Strand.

Due to official requirements because of the Corona pandemic, there may still be restrictions on the hotel's services. This concerns especially the wellness facilities and restaurants. The general usability of some facilities is therefore not part of the contract. However, we will of course make available all facilities where there is no prohibition to the contrary. Restrictions also exist with regard to the obligation to wear masks, hand disinfection, distance rules to be observed or the restriction of contact with other guests.

Hygiene information

You can help protect yourself and others from infectious diseases with simple measures.

  • In areas with public traffic inside closed rooms as well as for lift use, the wearing of a mouth-nose covering (medical or comparable mask or mask without exhalation valve of the standards FFP2, FFP3, N95, KN95, P2, DS2 or KF94) is recommended.
  • Maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other persons is recommended. The minimum distance is indicated e.g. by floor markings, signs or barriers.
  • Sneeze or cough into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief and dispose of the handkerchief afterwards in a dustbin with a lid.
  • Keep your hands away from your face - avoid touching your mouth, eyes or nose with your hands.
  • Wash your hands regularly and for long enough (at least 20 seconds) with soap and water - especially after blowing your nose, sneezing or coughing.
  • Avoid touching (for example, shaking hands or hugging) when greeting or saying goodbye to other people.
  • People with respiratory symptoms (unless cleared by a doctor, e.g. a cold) or fever must stay away from the hotel.
  • In the case of suspected cases, the persons concerned are requested to contact a doctor or a test centre immediately for clarification.
  • Attention is drawn to hygiene rules of conduct by notices at central points.
  • A 3rd service lift can also be used and is signposted; the emergency staircases are also signposted for use.
  • At reception, a glass front between guest and staff provides protection against infection.
  • We recommend cashless payment if possible.
  • A separate room is available for the storage of luggage; luggage is stored separately.
