Würzburg Christmas Market

25th November to 23rd December 2016

With around 100 stalls, the broad range of wares from stallholders nestles in front of the historic façades of the Falkenhaus and the Gothic Marienkapelle church: spices, Christmas tree baubles and hand-carved decorations, candles, ceramics, toys, children's merry-go-rounds and many other items that belong to Christmas. There is of course no lack of either mulled wine or toasted almonds, not to mention other specialities that warm body and soul.

Würzburg Wine Parade

24th August to 3rd September 2017

This wine festival came into being in 2002 and was inspired by the idea of only showcasing wines from Würzburg wineries, serving wines of all quality levels, including ice wine from grapes frozen naturally on the vine, not just in standard glasses but also in 100 ml taster glasses. This unusually high level of quality for a wine festival is matched by gastronomy of an equal standard.
