Travel information during the Corona pandemic

Dear guests,

We are very pleased to welcome you as a guest in our hotel.

Due to official requirements because of the Corona pandemic, there may still be restrictions on the hotel's services. This concerns especially the wellness facilities and restaurants. The general usability of some facilities is therefore not part of the contract. However, we will of course make available all facilities where there is no prohibition to the contrary. Restrictions also exist with regard to the obligation to wear masks, hand disinfection, distance rules to be observed or the restriction of contact with other guests.


Due to official requirements, the 2G+ regulation applies in the federal state of Saxony.

What does 2G+ mean in Saxony?

Overnight stay for tourist travel purposes 2G+:

  • Vaccinated persons with proof of vaccination and additional test (rapid test max. 24 hrs, PCR test max. 48 hrs)
  • Convalescents with proof and additional test (rapid test max. 24 hrs, PCR test max. 48 hrs)

Overnight stay for business purposes 3G:

  • Vaccinated persons with proof of vaccination 
  • Convalescents with proof 
  • Tested (rapid test max. 24 hrs, PCR test max. 48 hrs)


  •  Children up to the age of 16 (through regular testing at school - the student card must be presented)
  • Children over the age of 17, if still attending school, are exempt from compulsory testing. The 2G rule (vaccinated or recovered) applies to them. Proof of school attendance by means of a pupil ID card must be provided
  • Boostered persons (booster vaccination)
  • Persons without vaccination recommendation of the STIKO

luca App

We use “luca” – here’s how it works

  • “luca” helps you to share your contact data anonymously and securely. Download the free luca app in your app store and enter your personal data there once.
  • When you enter our venue, you are checked in by having your QR code scanned or scanning one at your table. The data about your stay is encrypted and Maritim never has access to it, making sure you always retain your data sovereignty. “luca” records a digital guest list, relieving health authorities through digital processes. If the public health department wants to read your data, they need your permission first.
  • When leaving our location, please check out manually, automatic checkout is not provided at Maritim Hotels. Your encrypted data is automatically deleted after a maximum of four weeks after visiting the event or venue.

Corona tests

Corona tests are available at the various on-site test centers. Please note that you need to register for the test at all test centers.




Our Wintergarten restaurant is happy to welcome you for breakfast. From 20 January 2022 also for dinner.

With the help of the luca app, you are able to check in at the restaurant on the day of your visit.



Use of the swimming pool, fitness room and sauna is possible from 24 January 2022. Please register and deregister at the reception.

2G+: Use is only possible for vaccinated or recovered persons with additional testing (boostered persons excluded).

Payment at the hotel

Please use contact and cashless payment options throughout the hotel.

Hygiene concept

The implementation of our officially agreed hygiene concept is binding for guests and employees of the house and supplements the house rules. This includes:

  • Obligation to wear a FFP2 mask or comparable standard (Children from 6 to 16 years can wear a surgical mask)
    • Everyday masks, masks with exhalation valve and visors are not permitted!
  • Check-in at the entrance with the Luca app
  • Use of the disinfectant dispensers at the entrances and on the floors
  • Adherence to sneezing and coughing etiquette
  • Frequent hand washing and regular disinfection
  • Keep a general distance from other people; restrict access to lifts
    • Also use the designated stairwells (emergency exits) - access to the floors on the Elbe side is possible up to the sixth floor.
  • In deviation from the regulation, we request proof of the negative test result every three days. Self-reporting is not permitted.

We clean and disinfect at frequent and regular intervals:

  • Your room cards and other handouts upon arrival
  • All frequently used surfaces at the reception, at and in the elevators and corridors as well as in the restaurant and of course in your room

We wear our masks with a smile underneath:

  • All employees complete at least two PCR tests/week, if not already vaccinated
