Skiing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing - you'll find the ideal conditions for your winter holiday here. Braunlage is one of the oldest and most important winter sports locations in Germany. The first skis were produced here in 1883.
Alpine skiing and snowboarding
Go Alpine skiing in the centre of Braunlage: Use our ski lifts on the Hasselkopf mountaintop or on the ski slope at the town hall! With appropriate snow conditions, skiing by floodlight is also offered there. The Wurmberg winter sports area was already developed and is being expanded further, and gets a firm covering of snow, which can be produced by using snow canons. Braunlage is a paradise for winter sports fans.
