The picturesque spa town of Titisee in the Black Forest - famous for the World Cup ski jumping that is broadcast around the world annually from Germany's biggest natural jump - affords visitors a diverse range of leisure time activities throughout the year. In summer for example, the lakeshore and the crystal clear depths entice bathers while the clearly marked hiking tracks quickly find favour with joggers, cyclists and those who enjoy a leisurely stroll. With a network of cross-country ski tracks, well-maintained slopes and the 1.2 kilometre long natural toboggan run, the colder months draw winter sports enthusiasts from both Germany and abroad.
The pedestrian zone in Titisee is widely considered as one of the most beautiful in the Black Forest's south. Ornate shops selling regional specialties such as traditional attire and cuckoo clocks invite hours of casual perusal and the odd monetary transaction. The surrounding areas also have a lot to offer.
The bathing paradise and aqua park located on the edge of Titisee is a real plus for the region. With a landscape of naturally lit tropical oases, saunas, steam baths, swimming pools, wellness facilities, waterslides and lots more, the complex’s huge panorama atrium can be opened on sunny days to invigorate visitors with fresh Black Forest air.
The highlight for the whole family: GALAXY SCHWARZWALD. This section promises to be one of Germany’s largest and most modern aqua parks with over 16 state of the art waterslides ranging from family fun to hair-raising horror.

The memories of visiting this impressive city with its many historical sights and wonderful pedestrian zone will surely be cherished for years to come. Not to be missed are the Freiburger Bächle (derived from the word for stream). These manmade canals date back to the 13th century and supplied the old town with water. Today, the water in the canals helps keep the pedestrian zone cool and it's not only the children who find the temptation to splash hard to resist...
Germany's highest waterfalls are located in the spa town of Triberg. They are not only a sight to behold, the water agitation makes for a healthy atmosphere believed to work wonders for the heart and lungs. Another must is a trip on the famous Schwarzwaldbahn (Black Forest Railway) which is also known as the ‘Mother of all mountain railways'. The section between Hornberg, Triberg and St. Georgen is considered especially worth seeing.
Prices start at 1.50 € per person
The reservoir lake covers approximately 5.1 square kilometres and is a genuine paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Diving, sailing, wind surfing, rowing and fishing take place in and on the water while the beaches draw sunbathers and master BBQ chefs. Cyclists and inline skaters make good use of the well-marked and paved tracks which stretch some 160 kilometres in total.
Literally the size of a house, the clock's cuckoo itself is 4.50 m long and weighs in at 150 kg! The mechanism design was taken from a century old example and recreated in a scale of 60:1. Every single part had to be specially manufactured and the project took approximately 5 years to complete. Visitors of the Eble Clock Park in Triberg are more than welcome to enter the clock and examine its inner workings.
With a peak of 1,192 m, the views of the Black Forest, the River Rhine, the Vosges, the Swiss Alps and the French Alps from Titisee-Neustadt's mountain are simply breathtaking. Germany's largest natural ski jump is impossible to miss when enjoying the panorama of Titisee-Neustadt.
The singing innkeeper goes beyond vocal merriment with live music, great food and plenty of liquid refreshment to ensure every meal is a memorable moment!
The historical old Förberhofmühle (mill) is located close to Titisee-Neustadt and affords visitors not only a glimpse into the machinery of a bygone era, but a sumptuous buffet meal as well. The saw still functions and can be set in motion upon request.
